Kenya is the 16th largest coffee grower in the world, of which more than 94% of coffee is exported. The coffee beans, considered one of the best Arabica beans in the world, are grown between altitudes of 1500 to 2000 meters above sea level on nutrient-rich volcanic soils.
The Arabica beans are well shaped and dense, due to being grown and grown on plateau farms. A good Kenyan coffee bean, when carefully prepared, has a fragrant aroma, a rich body, a lively acidity with a wine-like aftertaste of berries and citrus.
